locked Mini-JTAlert Tool Bar

Is there a way to not have the 'mini-tool bar' not pop up when opening JTAlert 2.5?  It's doesn't present a problem, but it's one more thing to shut down when exiting the program.

Tom,

What is the "mini-tool bar" you are referring to?

What mini-toolbar? 2.50.0 doesn't have one.

There was some discussion yesterday about the old JTAlert main window eventually being replaced with a small tool-bar, but that was just a discussion.

All the new JTAlert 2.50.0 windows, with the gear icon in the lower-right of the window, can be set to auto-open on startup. That can be turned off. See the "Open at startup" setting on the "Window " section of the "Options" popup.

Tom, At this time that "tool bar" is essential. It is the app that brings up the rest of the windows (Callsigns, etc.). It is actually a smaller version of this (see attached). Under "View", you have unchecked "Show Log Fields". This will all eventually change, but for now, that app has to be there.

You mentioned that it was just one more thing to shut down. If you exit out of that app, it should shut down all of the JTAlert apps, as well as WSJt-X.

That's the main JTAlert window. It has lost some of its appearance due to recent 2.50.0 changes.

See this message about the future of that window https://hamapps.groups.io/g/Support/message/34195

Since this is the JTAlert executable main window, closing it will automatically close all the child windows you may have open, like the Callsigns, Decodes, Activity, etc.
