locked Making wanted grids work?

K0GU

Hi all. Trying to make Wanted Grids work. I do not have a logging program connected to JTAlert/JTDX. I have a friend that downloaded the LoTW file that shows the others stations grid and shows it is a match. He tells me that he installed the file in JTAlert using Standard ADIF File. It seems to be working for him. But for me the 6m grids never get populated (0 of 32400 Grid Squares NOT Needed). When I start up JTAlert the window that comes up briefly does seem to indicate JTAlert does see the QSL by LoTW. Obviously I'm missing a step somewhere. I will add a little of the file and screen shot of the window that comes up briefly when JTAlert is started. Any help please?

Hi Jay,

I've used DXKeeper since getting back on the air in 2003. It's free, trouble-free, and well supported. It will import any ADIF log, and it interoperates well with JTAlert.  If your log is electronic and can be exported as ADIF, it's a great solution to your problem.

No Michael I did not. But now that I have it works!!! Many thanks...

Jim I downloaded DXKeeper after you suggested it on another forum. I fed it some bad data and now I can't figure out how to clean up the mess I made. A topic best left to be discussed elsewhere.

Sounds like you are not performing the Alert Database Rebuild operation.
