The services running on the HamSpots Server
that manage Band Activity data and Text Messaging for old (pre
2.15.0) versions of JTAlert have been disabled. Spots upload to
HamSpots is not affected by this change.
Server load has seen a significant
increase in recent weeks. This change
is part of the current Server load reduction activity.
It is very unlikely they
will be re-enabled in the future.
If either of these two disabled services is important to you, a
JTAlert upgrade to a more recent version will be needed.

Important Change:
The service responsible for the spot uploads to
HamSpots from old (pre 2.15.0) versions of JTAlert has now also
been turned off.
All three services, Spotting, Text Messages and Band Activity are
now permanently disabled for old no
longer supported pre 2.15.0 JTAlert
versions. Users who wish to use one or more of these JTAlert
features will need to upgrade JTAlert.
This permanent change affects, approximately, less than 0.5% of active
JTAlert users.
