Does your WSJT-X install directory contain the text
"-r" ? There
is a defect with 2.5.0 that produces the results you
described if
the directory contains "-r".



A fix was posted several hours ago, titled "FIX
for WSJT-X 1.40
and JTAlert 2.5.0".

Stop JTAlertX and replace the existing JTAlert.exe in
your JTAlert
install directory.



This is a replacement file, not a setup or upgrade
executable.
