locked JT Alert ver. 2.15 #FT8

Hi Laurie!

I installed version 2.15. Unfortunately, it doesn't work properly. It is very slow from the start, for example logging after qso is approx. 1 minute.
The decoded data does not appear and after a while all the graphics disappear from the JTAlert window, only one empty window.
( Dual Core 3.16GHz processor, 8GB RAM, Win 10 1903 on SSD,
WSJT-X is connected to the Hamradiodeluxe 6.6.0237 )

Pista,

At last count there were approx 2000 users of JTAlert 2.15.0, yours is the first report of this behaviour.
There is nothing new in the J2.15.0 changes that would account for such a slowdown and window misbehaviour.
If anything, JTAlert responsiveness is improved with 2.15.0 (some time consuming tasks were removed and several task have been migrated to much faster .NET code), but that is minor and is likely to be observed by the user

As a fist step, since your running WIn10 is to perform PC restart.

If the PC restart doesn't correct the slowdown (1 minute to log a QSO is not normal, even on the slowest of PCs) then you should look at your PC protection software, it may be interfering with JTAlert operation.

Hi Laurie!
Thank you for your reply! Disabled antivirus protection (ESET Internet Security 12.2.30.0), Reinstalled version 2.15. After rebooting, a window popped up at startup saying that some UDP configuration is wrong and cannot communicate with WSJT-X. Of course, it does not show anything from the decoded data. (Server 127.0.0.1, Port NR 2237 and check mark in all three checkboxes in WSJT-X setting)
For example, clicking the Settings button responds slowly to the command.
Back in version 2.14.5, everything works fine.
