23 second JTAlert startup time
Thanks to Mike W9MDB for logging onto my computer and doing some sleuthing. It seems, a while back, I'd played around with JTAlert "Auto-Start" features. They were still active. In a way... Unbeknowns

Oy. Just when I was resigned to accept the strange delay. Thanks Laurie for clarifying.

Well, Well! I am ignorant vis-a-vis JTAlert machinations I guess, Bill. Many thanks indeed! So I guess if my DxKeeper mdb is 13000 kb then that's a lot of reading-in . tnx again.

23 second JTAlert startup time
Windows 10-Pro x64 JTAlert 2.16.13 WSJTx 2.2.2 I run three instances of both. The first instance of JTAlert ALWAYS takes circa 23 seconds to start. The remaining two roughly 4-6 seconds individually.

Amount of Time to take HamApps to Load
I've been noticing that HamApps seems to take between 15 and 25 seconds to load, here. I can have a few other Radio apps running; or I can have just wsjtx as well as one iteration of JTAlert running .

I am running two rigs, usually. At the moment I am on 6m Meteor Scatter. I am also running FT8 on 10m, or before daybreak, on 60m. Thus there are two Propagation modes. I'd like the settings 'retained

Click on JTAlert and get PathFinder to see "Call sign" ?
Excellent Laurie. Even the folders for both DXLabs and for HamApps were 'Admin' owned as well as everything underneath them. I set each folder, and child folders/programs thereby, to 'Username/users .
