Auto-start question
Thanks for the responses. I moved DXKeeper to the end of the list and increased the time setting on the other auto-start programs and now all works well. What a neat feature! 73, Carter K8VT

Auto-start question
I used JT Alert about 3 years ago with JT65/JT9 but still consider myself a newbie, just having got back on the air with FT-8. I manually start from desktop icons (in the order listed): 1) DX Lab Comm

Sudden burst in JT9 activity. Why?
Sadly, I agree with you. FT8 is like playing a game of "Whack-a-Mole".

Yes, sorry, this should have gone to the WSJT site. Thanks for the info (and a great program!), I like having the extra data and real estate is not a problem, glad to know it won't affect the decoding

I'm using JTAlert 2.8.1, WSJT-X 1.6, an FT-1000MP and an older Dell computer (Optiplex 780?), Windows 10, whose front panel says "Intel Duo core". Right now everything is working fine, have the 1000MP

New - JTAlert 2.7.3 available - New Features, Changes and Fixes
TNX, I'll try it... Not sure what "bothering the wsjtx status file" means but being able to double click on the JTAlert entries sounds like a nice feature. 73, Carter K8VT

I've seen this term mentioned in the Yahoo group traffic before, but as a non-computer guru, could someone briefly explain what "UDP" is and why I do (or don't) need it. I do not recall enabling it in

Mike, Thanks! Not very much of a computer guru so I hesitate to learn sqlite. However, if I get into it, you instructions above should get me there. Thanks again and 73, Carter K8VT

Thanks to all for the answer. It will be a very helpful feature when the bands get busy...and "View" is a very logical place to point it out. It was documented, I just didn't look in the right place,
