Yes_AC works great with my 7300.  Be sure to Enable ACLog in JTAlert settings

Hi Randy,

Many hams have interfaced ACLog to the 7300.  I have copied the N3FJP user group – I’m sure you will receive help.

That way I could easily with the same call operate QRO and QRP and know what is a new one in QRO and QRP and what is not.

How would you be differentiating between QRO and QRP QSOs in your log?

Are you using a different Station Call like ON6KE/QRP or are you simply populating the TX_PWR field with a value below a defined threshold to indicate QRP operation?

I believe he's referring to when you add QRP to your call -- you really don't care about the other operator.

So, e.g, CQ W9MDB/QRP

And he'd like the ability to scan <STATION_CALLSIGN> only for calls logged with W9MDB/QRP

Right now you can do it with a separate log -- but if you're flipping around from QRP to higher power that's a bit of a pain.

I wonder is that is an america’ism - looking at UK licence there are only really 4 suffix’s mentioned. I can’t see anything (or any forum type comments) on adding other  bits and bobs.

It may be the norm - no views either way myself - perhaps there will be an option in V3 (long way away) to switch operators or config files on the fly.

I had an issue with the B4 the other night where I tried to contact a station but could not get him to come back.
The next day he is marked as worked even though nothing was logged and I have not worked him.

What might cause that?

Hi

Then you get into the definition of QRP and QRO they mean different things to everyone.

Additionally you would need to ensure all loggers support the TX_PWR field which may be an issue.

I _suspect_ it is a non-starter.

I would also suggest DXLab’s “DXKeeper".  It’s easy to use and easy to learn too, and very powerful.  And more powerful still when used with the rest of the suite.  Plus it’s free with excellent near real-time support.

I have no primary logger. I have always just used the .adif log. I found that when I loaded the LOTW to the B4 database, that the worked B4 didn't show anymore. When I went into the settings and removed the check mark from the .adif file, the B4 started showing up. So I'm happy with that, but now it doesn't upload to eQSL anymore. I guess I shouid get a logging program, but I don't want all of the bells and whistles of HRD.

OM (Name/Call ?),

The B4Log.mdb file  (which received your adif import) is only used when logging is disabled (JTAlert shows "NO Log" in the titlebar text) otherwise the enabled logger is used for all B4 checks.

If you are indeed running with "NO Log" than the B4 detection should work.
When you say B4 is not working, is that for all previously worked callsigns decoded or only a small number of previously worked decoded callsigns are not showing "B4"?

Why did you use an LoTW adif export to populate the B4Log file rather than a full export from your primary logger? The problem with an LoTW export is that it will only contain LoTW confirmed QSOs.

Please use the "Help" (or "?") -> "Contact Support" menu, on the JTAlert title-bar, to send me your JTAlert files for analysis and please include a note of this message thread.

I should add: I was using port 2237. I just changed it to 2334 and it seems to be working (well for one contact I tested with anyway!)

I try a few more and see if it's consistent. Thank you for the further assistance.
