I just worked 2 different Alaskan stations on 17M FT8, but they continue to be displayed in my NOT "Worked-B4" color scheme.  All others on the band seem to be identified OK by JTAlert.  What does the program have against our 49th state?  :)

Using V 2.15.7

Applications>DXLAB Suite, Post decoded Callsigns to spot collector as local
spots is enabled. Spots are not appearing in Spot
Collector.

Perhaps I'm missing something. Any assistance to help me work through this
is greatly appreciated.

+ Please depress your keyboard's CTRL key while clicking the X button in the
Filter panel at the bottom of SpotCollector's Main
window; do the callsigns posted by JTAlert now appear in SpotCollector's
Spot Database Display?

Thanks Bill.

I never knew that either of those keys did that - I've always used the Mouse to click the 'Enable Tx' or 'Halt Tx'.

Put your log in Dropbox or OneDrive and you won't have to export/import anything.

Just point your logger to the Dropbox/OneDrive file.

First of all, Thanks to Laurie for JTAlert, I use it daily and am most grateful for all the work.

I have two primary QTHs, about an hour drive apart, both set of software programmed in WSJT-X with the appropriate quadrant locations.  I use Flex radio SmartSDR 3.1.8, WSJT-X and Ham Radio Deluxe logger with JT Alert.   JTAlert(2.15.9), WSJT-X (2.1.2) and HRD Log (6.7.0.244) are all current versions as of today, February 9, 2020.

My problem is trying to coordinate the "B4" designation to the JTAlert call sign labels.  My normal workflow is to backup the HRD logbook and restore at the other QTH.  And I suspect this is part of the problem.  But I can find no information on how to back load the HRD log entries from a separate QTH (but identical call sign etc) into JTAlert so the "B4" designations are accurate.  I see no way to do this on the help files, but wonder if I can load exported HRD Log ADIF files back into JTAlert in some way.  I find the "B4" labels quite helpful.

And BTW, thanks for the alternate view option in JTAlert 2.15.9.  Looks much better and more convenient.

Thanks for any help....

Good afternoon, I'm addressing you because I update LOG4OM and I can't upload my contacts from WSJT-X to the LOG4OM guard book, I use LOG4 = M 2.3.0.0, WSJT-X 2.1.2 and JTAlert 2.15.9, the routes of SQLite, both in LOG40M and JTAlert are identical, the "logging time" I tried 5 secs and 8secs and I don't get it, it always comes out "Failure: QSO not Logged, ERROR Message: LOG4OM V2 SQLite: Unable to confirm QSO Logged, NOTE : The QSO is still saved to the WSJT-X Log File. I enclose screenshots of my configuration and the "config.json" file of LOG4OM, in case you can help me.

You need to change the JTAlert sound card to your speakers -- not the rig audio device.

Please explain exactly what you are trying to do....

Why do you need a 2nd microphone input?  Microphone inputs have nothing to do with JTAlert.  JTAlert doesn't record anything and only plays back through a speaker device which can be used/shared by all other applications on your computer.

I post this periodically.  Antivirus/Malware programs are the bane of ham operators.  For example, one of the dxpeditions was losing QSOs in the ADIF log until they excluded the directory.

Exclude all of your ham software folders and data locations.
The antivirus programs are interfering with all sorts of ham stuff including logging QSOs

For Windows Defender: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4028485/windows-10-add-an-exclusion-to-windows-security

For example I exclude all of these
c:\Program Files (x86)\HamApps
c:\ProgramData\HamApps
c:\WSJT\WSJTX\bin
%LOCALAPPDATA%\WSJT-X (and any other WSJT-X directories)
%HOMEPATH%\flrig.files
%HOMEPATH%\fldigi.files

Exclude your logging program and it's data files too.
For Log4OM I also have
%LOCALDATA%\LogOM

When my last attempt at a QSO in WSJT-X was incomplete and the Tx1 to Tx5 message boxes still have a callsign and report details that it was last trying to send when JTAlert starts it causes DX Keeper to filter the Log to show just the list of any contacts with the station I last tried to work, the only way to clear this appears to be to click the 'X' in DX Keeper to clear the filter. Starting 2 or more copies of WSJT-X and JTAlert causes the filter to change from one callsign to the next as each copy starts to work.

Is there a way that I've missed to clear the incomplete QSO data from WSJT-X or from JTAlert to stop this happening ?
Hi Stewart,

you can use the F4 key to clear the DX Call and messages in WSJT-X, there is one caveat in that if the band/frequency drop down box has keyboard focus the F4 key will not have that function. You also have the option to hit the ESC key to abandon and clear down a current QSO, this action will also halt any transmission in progress. Either method should be carried through to JTAlert and any logging application windows that are tracking your prospective/current/last QSO partner automatically.
