Phil,

Go to Settings - Alerts - Wanted CQ Marathon.

Check "Auto clear triggered Alert entity after logging".

See attached picture.

A possible answer - CQ Marathon counts both DX and CQ Zones (each combination counts once), so if a station in the same country but different CQ Zone appears, the alert is triggered.

Hello
I am a long time Alert user but suddenly this week having issues that I cannot seem to debug. I am using Alert 2.16.7 with either WSJTX 2.3.0 or JTDX 2.2.0 rc152 (older version but works for me). I am not seeing any callsigns being displayed
in JTAlert, if I double click a callsign it is placed into Alert but no QRZ lookup (XML subscriber) at this point I cannot place another call into Alert the first call remains and alert is not logging into HRD (.323) latest release. To my knowledge nothing
has been changed anywhere this all started this week. I looked at help files about the UDP changing did not help. These same symptoms are happening with JTDX and WSJTX. I went into Windows firewall and Alert was already given a pass and I
added JTDX and WSJTX but no change. Everything was working great prior to this week.
Thanks 73

As mentioned in the original thread .. did you go back into WSJT-X, select the LOOPBACK selection in the UDP IP address, click on OK to save the settings, then exit WSJT-X, and JT-Alert, then restart both?    If you did, use the CONTACT SUPPORT link under the HELP menu so that Laurie will get the files he needs to assist you.

Repeating you issue in every thread about HRD doesn't help without Laurie knowing the exact environment.

Yes, I know I need to move to Maria.  However, since all of this was working under WSJT-X 2.2.2 and since the only known change to the system was the installation of WSJT-X 2.3.0., I am reluctant to make to many changes without an indication that is definitely the problem.

Thanks for the hint.  I have thought about the Access data base vs sql,  but it was all working without issue when I was using WSJT-X 2.2.2.  It was the upgrade to 2.3.0 that started the problems.  Yesterday, I didn’t have a link to JTALERT but was directed to the loopback selection.  When I got data flowing to JTALERT I expected normal data flow from JTALERT (version 2.16.17).  Unless there was a change made to JTALERT by the installation of WJST-X 2.3.0 that I don’t know about, all the settings in JTALERT and HRD (version 6.7.0.232).  Look normal.

Of course now, I am back to square one with no feed from WSJT-X to JTALERT.

I spoke to soon.  I had shut down my wsjt-x, jtalert, and hrd.  Later I restarted the three programs.  For unknown reasons, I again an not able to get data from WSJT-X to JTALERT.

I am again getting the JTALERT message

Unable to communicate with the WSJT-X process.

I have checked the values in both WSJT-X and JTALERT and nothing has changed.  The new loopback is still selected in WSJT-X and multicast is selecting in JTALERT.

Since downloading the new version of WSJT-X I have been having problems getting data to the correct place.  Yesterday, I was getting no data from WSJT-X to JTALERT.  Someone provided the fix with the result that those two apps are now playing nicely together.

My logging has been through JTALERT since discovering the tool.  It was correctly transferring data to HRD using the setting for HRD Version 6.3 or later.  However, since the new version of WSJT-X, my logging data is apparently not before forwarded to HRD (local log).

I have reviewed the settings in both apps and as far as I know nothing has changed.  But I now consistently get the message from JTALERT:
