No idea. Looks like some scaling is being applied. JTAlert doesn't apply that sort of window scaling, it does some minimal individual control resizing based on the detected scaling factor of Windows and only at startup, never after the window has been shown normal size.

Has JTAlert always done this or is it a recent occurrence?

All I can suggest is that your perform a PC restart, perhaps there are some video driver or Windows  updates pending.

JTAlert supports a single audio file per Alert. It is not possible to have multiple sound files for the same Alert type.

Regarding what you're trying to achieve, you will never get CQ POTA or CQ SOTA alerts using the Keywords Alert. That Alert is only triggered on free-text messages, not standard decodes messages, as per the instructions shown for that Alert in your posted image.

Likely you didn't enable the "WSJT-X UDP Multicast on Loopback" setting in JTAlert (under the Settings menu, top most entry). There have been a number of changes to Multicast handling in JTAlert due to recent changes in WSJT-X 2.3.0+ multicast behavior. See the JTAlert 2.16.17 release notes.

Unfortunately, I wiped my old spot collector log when I was attempting to "fix" the problem going through the setup.

JTAlert doesn't record the high-volume spot traffic, so there is nothing to examine in the JTAlert session files, but you can examine the SpotCollector "ErrorLog.txt" file located in your SC install directory. You will need to enable the SC "Log debugging information" option in the SC Config settings and then leave running for a few minutes. Don't forget to turn off that setting. You need to look for entries in the "ErrorLog.txt" file containing "004conveyspot", these will be the local spots from JTAlert.

Herb,

There is no mechanism to instruct JTAlert to look in a location of your choosing for its config file. The location is fixed with the only variable being your Callsign and Windows username.

The location for the JTAlert config.sqlite file will be %localappdata%\HamApps\
WB8ASI\config\JTAlertX\

What leads you to believe that JTAlert is not finding your config?

If JTAlert finds that the config file is missing it will automatically create a new file with default values.

If the config.sqlite file is present it may be a new default file or your old file that is corrupt and no longer readable. There should be a number of backup files in the Config directory. Have a look at the help file, "Troubleshooting -> Setting Changes Not Remembered" section, that will give you the instructions for testing if the config is corrupt and how to restore a backup file.

Wow - I feel sort of like an idiot...  looking back through the Spot Collector log, I now see the populated DXGrid, but it seems to stop populating after 3/27/2001 1420 (yesterday morning).  Since then, nothing.  I have to remember what I did yesterday.

JTAlert does send the DXGrid to SpotCollector. If the grid is unknown, not part of the current decode or has not been previously decoded (JTAlert caches the previously decoded grids for the current JTAlert session) than an empty string is sent as the DXGrid. The following fields are sent to SC from JTAlert as local spots...
call, freq, mode, dxgrid, degrid, notes

Are you not seeing the DXGrid being populated for JTAlert local spots?

BTW, JTAlert will also alert on needed grids.

I've noticed the same stations trigger alerts over and over again, every
30 seconds, which rather reduces the usefulness of the audio alert.  It
is valuable to *see* the highlight on alerting stations in the stations
display for every transmission when one is "at the keyboard" (as it
allows the operation to quickly check the status of those stations) but
hearing the audio alert repeatedly gets to be quite distracting <G>.
Another alert that "would be nice" is an "ATNO" - whether it be a
new (unconfirmed) DXCC on a given (WSJTX) mode or the first DXCC on
*any* mode vs. "just" an unconfirmed DXCC on the current band
(band/mode).  It makes prioritizing calls more efficient when there
are multiple "targets".

Both of the suggestions are "for the future" - not worth fighting the
spaghetti code to implement.

All noted.

As for the repeating audio alerts, simple fix, go to the "Sound -> Sound Play Limit" menu and adjust the repeat frequency.

Those calls are still in the "Band Activity" window even if they are

highlighted (colored) in Band Activity to reduce confusion.  You
obviously identify them to hide them from the Alerts display and they
are colored if "Do Not Show Worked (B4) callsigns" is not selected
so it seems that a simple reordering of of the logic (move highlight
