OK Bill - good luck. Just keep in mind that it could be an OS-related problem with the memory issue... not an app.

Hello Craig-
I could reboot everyday and avoid these issues but when there is a
programming problem it should be fixed.
Appreciate the workaround suggestion. Hopefully someone will identify
the root

Re: Pc crash
Hi Bill - I think so too. Maybe it's a memory leak issue that degrades system performance over time. You have a lot going on within your PC 24X7. Why don't you just re-boot a couple times a week -

Hello Craig-
No SAVE in WSJT-X.
Thanks for the suggestion, however.
This is some kind of memory consumption problem I believe.

Bill. Are you saving images in wsjt-x? Eats up a lot of memory. Set to off if you don’t need it. C

Amount of Time to take HamApps to Load
I've been noticing that HamApps seems to take between 15 and 25 seconds
to load, here.
I can have a few other Radio apps running; or I can have just wsjtx as
well as one iteration of JTAlert running

Re: JTalert to JTDX click
I had to click, within jtdx, by clicking on accept udp requests.
Then it worked.
So both misc and reporting have to co-ordinated to accept udp

Re: JTalert to JTDX click
What IP address are you using for the JTDX UDP Server setting?
Try changing that to using a multicast address, say 239.255.0.0. then restart JTDX and JTAlert. Does that correct
