I must have had a bad install.  Installed the .6 version (Had the .5 one installed) and the problem went away.  A bad install is the only thing I can think of.  TNX es 73  Jim NX0R - Hays, KS

I tried to send one to myself (Didn't know that was possible)  But I did not get a response.  Is there some configuring to do on messaging?  It always worked before.

Messaging is working. You can test by sending a message to yourself.

The current Messaging is backwards compatible with older implementations, up to a point. What JTAlert version are you using?

I got your message, but you apparently did not get the 2 I attempted to send back.

Laurie - I continue to struggle with getting B4 to behave accurately.  For example, I called VK6EI this evening on 30M FT8 based on JTAlert showing not worked before. When completed and logged with DXLab DXKeeper, my log is showing that I have worked this station 5 times in 2021 on 30M FT8.  My JTAlert B4 settings are ALL unchecked.  Can you provide me with some guidance on this regularly occurring issue.  I am using V2.50.5  Thank you.

JTAlert doesn't have and has never had a voiced Alert for stations calling CQ DX.

If it is the DXCC Alert that is being triggered that will be because the Country of the Alerting callsign is set as needed in JTAlert. The DXCC Alert does not trigger on the CQ direction word.

FWIW ... when Laurie releases a new version, the Callsign Database is included in that download so there shouldn't be a reason to download it again.

That said, he should be given some leeway as he's trying to work on the program, and maintain the websites at the same time :)

Hi there, thanks for the updates; however, the wrong file appears to be there for the database downloads; that file is still showing as 8/27/2021.

All windows other than the main window right now can be resized.
Click the gear icon in the lower right and ensure "Size locked" is not checked.

Are any of the main alert windows resizable ???   For some reason, I thought that at one time I could resize, maybe I am wrong, but right now, there is no way that I can alter any heights or widths at all.... (other than the ones inside the 'all decodes' window, which I can change.)  Is this normal, or do I have a computer fault ???

Exactly the same problem here. Have gone through the activation of the UDP, setting both same address in JTAlert and also on WSJT-X to no avail as shown in the help troubleshooting file.

Also same thing here... just downloaded the latest versions of both WSJT-X 2.4.0 and JTAlert 2.50.5.
Have rebuilt the Alerts and that part is working fine. JTAlert has access to the Ham Radio Deluxe and populates its own databases correctly but since there is no communication between JTAlert and WSJT-X the application does not report anything at all. Just the menu bar and nothing else.

What version of JTAlert did you upgrade from? Was it one of the old 2.16.x versions or earlier? If so the likely problem is that you have not installed the correct .NET 5.0.x Desktop Runtime. Does the JTAlert About window open when you use the "Help -> About" menu? If not that indicates that the JTAlertV2.Manager.exe process is not running or is continually restarting, both of which will occur if you have not installed the correct .NET 5.0.x Desktop Runtime.

See the message for instructions on downloading the correct Desktop Runtime. Use the download links in that message to ensure you're getting the correct .NET files rather than trying to reuse any previous downloaded files you may have.
