09/12/2021 Database File Error
Hi there, thanks for the updates; however, the wrong file appears to be there for the database downloads; that file is still showing as 8/27/2021.

All windows other than the main window right now can be resized. Click the gear icon in the lower right and ensure "Size locked" is not checked.  Mike W9MDB

CALLSIGN DATABSE IN LINK IS OLD ONE

The new installers have been examined by Microsoft and flagged as Virus/Trojan free. The MS Defender definitions files have been updated to exclude JTAlert 2.50.6 as a threat. Also same thing here... just downloaded the latest versions of both WSJT-X 2.4.0 and JTAlert 2.50.5. Have rebuilt the Alerts and that part is working fine. JTAlert has access to the Ham Radio Deluxe and populates its own databases correctly but since there is no communication between JTAlert and WSJT-X the application does not report anything at all. Just the menu bar and nothing else. JTAlert 2.50.5 YS1RS [???m,,NO LOG, #1] Thanks Rob YS1RS

Typically, either you don't have the UDP settings set correctly or some other application has taken exclusive control of the UDP Server Port. Do you have any other apps trying to work with WSJTX directly? Have a look at the JTAlert "Help -> WSJTX UDP Setup" menu. de Laurie VK3AMA

1) make sure your anti-virus is not blocking JTAlert

Two different underlying technologies. The reduced size Callsigns window is easily fixed., make the window active (simply click anywhere on the window) and use the F2 hotkey (the standard across all the new 2.50.x introduced windows) to bring up the Options popup for the Callsigns window then untick the "Size locked" & "Position locked" checkboxes. That will allow you to resize and reposition the window.  de Laurie VK3AMA
