I replied to your previous message regarding this. See https://hamapps.groups.io/g/Support/message/36449

Unless there is a published list of Callsigns and their current RDA then it wont be possible to have RDA Alerting in JTAlert. Performing online lookups on individual callsigns, which is the only method at this time, is not suitable.

The easiest way to test the entire Messaging infrastructure is to send a message to yourself. This will test all parts of the pipeline, Your PC -> Messaging Server -> Your PC.

I have been attempting to get LoTW onboard with supporting RDA districts as part of Russian LoTW certificates which is technical easy to do, but man are they resistant. I just don't understand enough to understand/appreciate why.

+ In early 2018, the ARRL re-assigned all developers working on LoTW to other projects (not one of which has since borne fruit); as a result the only progress being made on LoTW is what Rick K1MU is able to accomplish in TQSL.

WSJTX flags B4 based on the WSJTX (ADIF) log. JTAlert flags B4 based
on the logger JTAlert is configured to use (e.g. DXKeeper, in my case).

In addition, WSJTX will only flag B4 on stations calling CQ.

A HUGE Thanks for all the effort you have put into this latest version.
Took a bit of time to get the prioritizing sorted out and populating the Callsigns window.
Does what I had wanted and a bit more.
I do find differences between what WSJT indicates as worked before and what shows B4 in JTAlert.  Possibly a setting I need to discover.  There are stations showing in WSJT that are not displaying the worked before highlighting, and yet they are clearly worked B4 in Alert.
Again, THANKS.

They may not have their end set up correctly. I use it all the time, works great!

You shouldn't have to check if a station is online using JTAlert 2.50.4 (newest), a star in the CQ decode window indicates this.

As documented *clearly* in JTAlert -> Help -> WSJT-X UDP Setup
*USE A MULTICAST ADDRESS* 224.0.0.1 to 224.0.0.255 or
239.255.0.1 - 239.255.255.255 and *CHECK* WSJT-X UDP Multicast
on Loopback (JTAlert -> Settings).

Do you have 'accept udp requests' checkbox enabled ? Do you have Multicast server option enabled in JTAlert settings dropdown ?
Usually once enabled, the JTAlert traffic shows after a couple of cycles from wsjtx.

Hi Laurie, no I didn't.  WSTX-X was just set to UDP on the loopback address 127.0.0.1.  I changed it to multicast and ticked the selection in jtalert will watch it a while and see if that fixes it.

WSJT-X version is 2.4.0

thanks
