Ok guys I was stupid and tried to make things easier for me and change some colors for different countries I wanted and such.
i do t see one green call now. How can I reset this back to original and enjoy using it the way it was before I went and fiddled with it.
OM,

Provided it has not been more than 7 days since you made the breaking changes, this easiest solution is to restore a backup of the JTAlert config file.

Open the Help file to the "Troubleshooting -> Setting Changes Not Remembered" section and follow steps 1 to 5. They cover restoring a backup of the config file.

locked Multiple radios and menu bar

I have 2 radios, but I rarely have them both on. Today I turned the second one on, and noticed that it appeared in JTAlert menu bar as "[5] IC-9100 (2-USB Audio CODEC)". Presumably I could select it. Neat feature.

However, when I turned the second radio off, it persisted in the menu bar. Would be better if it disappeared.

Are you referring to JT-Alert, or JTDX, in which case, wrong group :)

Laurie..TNX for your response.  That was the problem.  All the 3 boxes were unchecked.  Checked them and all is well.. Sorry to have bothered you with a JTDX problem.

Best 73 and TNX for a great software package.

There is nothing to configure in JTAlert. It provides a zero configuration experience, the setup is automatic.

Your problem is with your JTDX settings. By default, JTDX will only respond to commands from JTAlert for CQ decodes. Look under the JTDX  "Misc -> Accept UDP Reply messages" menu. Also check that the "Primary UDP Server" settings are correct and that "Accept UDP requests" are enabled.

Rather than talking about "latest" we need to start including the specific version.

Thanks for your time and thought, Laurie.

“You will likely find that each message is going to a different recipient address”

“I note a new user registered Sep 3 with a similar name, with an email address of Thomas@K*****ba.com. Is that you?

You hit the nail. That is, indeed, me.  But that is wrong.  Read on.

One general group message is to QSO@...That is my correct General Group account.

The dupe general group message is to Thomas@... that you said was added Sep 3rd and is the wrong address.

Here’s what I think happened. On Sep 3rd, *I* didn’t re-subscribe to the General Support group.

On that date you/someone emailed me saying I was added to the Beta group.

I think you/someone had accidentally re-added me as Thomas@... to the General Group, not the Beta.

That would then create the exact problem I am seeing.

Furthermore, the email I sent requesting Beta access, was indeed, sent from Thomas@...

That was my error. I thought after acceptance, I would manually subscribe and enter QSO@...

If I am correct about all the above, we need to do the following:

  1. Unsubscribe/Delete Thomas@... from General Group. I’m already there as QSO@...
  2. Correctly add me to Beta group as QSO@... so I can use my groups address for both.

Ps. This presupposes the erroneous Thomas@... address was only accidentally added to General Group.

And that it was not also added to the Beta group.

If it was, then the Beta Thomas@... account needs to be unsubscribed/deleted.

It will be replaced by the correct subscription of QSO@... noted earlier.

I hope that wasn’t too constipated.

Anyone else seeing that?
Thought it was my Outlook but I checked the mail server and they ae duplicated there too.
This was happening prior to Sept 3rd.
TomK

Check the email headers of a duplicate message. You will likely find that each message is going to a different recipient address.
I note a new user registered Sep 3 with a similar name, with an email address of Thomas@K*****ba.com. Is that you?
