If you are using 1.9.0 or greater that should work like any other call slot.

You can double-click on any call slot and the CQ ones will change rx/tx offset and enable Tx, the non-CQ will also but not enable Tx.
You check "Hold Tx Freq" if all you want is your Rx offset to change.

I recommend enabling the single click too in Settings/Applications/WSJT-X

Thanks again, Laurie.
Here is something very strange that occurred. I checked the settings as you outlined and they were set correctly. I Then did a "Scan Log and Rebuild"  and the WAE entries that previously were shown as being needed were no longer there, specifically Bear Island, Sicily and European Turkey. So, now everything is working correctly. Very strange!

John,

Do you have the Scan Log settings for the Marathon set to "No QSL Confirmation"?

If you do have the correct settings and the Scan is not picking up previously worked WAE stations, I will need to look at your JTAlert session files. Do a Scan Log, close and restart JTAlert, use the "? -> Contact Support" menu, on the JTAlert title-bar. Include a note in the support request of a WAE Callsign in your log that is not being picked up as worked. I may have to examine your Log file directly, if so I will email you directly.

No error messages.  The HRD did not see the logbook even with the HRDLCC directory moved over.

The directory was placed in the user\app data\roaming directory is it appears in the other computer.

I’ll play around with it more and let you know.

Thank you.

Bob,

Did you get an error message?
Did the JTAlert Settings show the list of HRD configure logs after you copied over the LogbookDatabases.xml file?
Provided you matched the directory structure and copied the file, JTAlert should have worked.

I'm surprised it didn't work, as HRD 6.3+ logging from JTAlert only involves TCPIP and the name of the Log. Since you posted the question I had time to further review the JTAlert code, JTAlert doesn't look to see if HRD is installed or not, it only looks for the

LogbookDatabases.xml file to get a list of the log names.

Laurie,

With regards to Shetland Islands, are you tracking the callsigns listed in the Helpful Hints file on the DX Marathon website?

Short answer is no.
That list is not very reliable, missing many active callsigns, no date of last update, and by their own admission includes non-active callsigns.

JTAlert uses the cty.dat file (from AD1C at www.country-files.com) which includes many Callsign overrides where the Callsign structure doesn't provide accurate country determination. These Callsign overrides are frequently updated, non-active callsigns retired and new callsigns added and are documented in the release notes of each release of cty.dat

The latest cty.dat file is always included with each JTAlert release and Databases release.

From the latest cty.dat the section on Shetland Islands with 57 callsigns, many that the DX Marathon site doesn't include...

+ AA6YQ comments below

1. How do I enter comments (NOTES) into a log entry either new and old?

+ Take a look at this article:

<https://www.dxlabsuite.com/dxlabwiki/Logging>

+ A QSO's "Comment" item is accessible via the Details panel on the Main window's "Log QSOs" tab.

2. How can I get back to the full log dispolay after seeing an individual call?

+ To remove any filtering of the Log Page Display, click the X button in the Filter panel at the bottom of the Main window's "Log QSOs" tab.

Bob,

JTAlert automatically determines what HRD Logs you have configured by examining the Logbook definitions file, LogbookDatabases.xml

Try duplicating the directory structure and copying the file over to the JTAlert (non HRD) PC.

JTAlert looks for the file at %appdata%\HRDLLC\HRD Logbook\LogbookDatabases.xml

I am unable to test if this works (no HRD installed here). Let me know if that works for you.

Thanks.
John W9ILY

Do the Log entries for these QSOs have the QSL confirmation type set (Card, or eQSL or LoTW) matching the confirmation type you have set for the Scan Log function?

For example, if you have the Scan set for LoTW confirmations, and the QSOs have not been confirmed on LoTW, then the Scan will not find those QSOs and the Entity will still be considered as needed.

If you can't login to multiple groups your registered with, simply use the "forgot your password" link on the login page.

An inability to login is not something that can be resolved by the HamApps group administrator (or any of the other groups administrators), it is handled at a higher level with Groups.io itself. Be sure to use your Groups.io registered email address.
