All message footer text including  the "-=-=-=-=-=-=" are appended by
Groups.io, but I am not getting the "Zork" lines in my messages (and
there have been no other reports). Examining the message source, I don't
see any "Zork" references. I don't know how your getting those lines,
but I don't believe it is from the Groiups.io mail/message handler.

Janny,

Thanks for the report. This is a defect and will be corrected for the next JTAlert release (later this week).

Sorry for the inconvenience.

de Laurie VK3AMA

Just an update...

This incorrect display of Z6 Callsigns as "Rep. of Korea" in the dxcc names below the decoded callsigns only affected this display area. It is a cosmetic defect only. It did not affect the dxcc alerts which were still correct for dxcc #522. The Decodes History and Callsign data tooltip
also correctly displayed "Republic of Kosovo".

A new release of JTAlert will be available tomorrow (15-Feb).

I found the problem I didn't have the Polling box checked in the rig control of HRD (the box that states "Only poll radio if HRD is the active program"
It now works like a champ.
 Thanks all for the help.

WSJT had its radio set to HRD, and JTAlert set to HRD ver 6. I took DDUTIL out of the picture completely with this setup. The com port pairs were built in VSP Manager.
After I did the above config, I did a system shutdown and power up. I then powered up the flex & stsrted tge flex in software, then started HRD and then WSJT and then JTalert in that order.
When I double clicked on a call in WSJT it still took several seconds for the PTT to kick in, it appears a little quicker that ehen DDUTIL was involved.
When I wrnt back to my setup with Logic9 running with DDUTIL (HRD not active) the PTT appears to be instiantanious.
So I suspect something in the HRD rig control settings.
Warren,

From you description is sounds like it might be a slow CAT comms problem. Try turning off split mode in WSJT-X to see if that helps. I wonder if there is some CAT handshaking happening (setting and checking VFOs as an example) that might be contributing to the delays.

Sorry, I don't have an answer. You could try posting this to the "wsjtgroup" on Yahoo. The WSJT-X developers hang out there so you might get some insight from them as to what may be the cause.

Your question isn't quite clear to me.  But it sounds like you want to "import" your HRD log so JTAlert knows all the contacts you have worked, right?

Once you hook up HRD to JTAlert you just do Settings/Scan and Rebuild.

I assume you already have JTAlert set to point to your HRD log and logging QSOs OK?

Sorry .. don't agree ... not to start a flame here, but most every ham application triggers false warnings due to the fact it is used by a small subset of overall WIndows users.

Microsoft's 'security' essentials is more likely to trigger false warnings than any third-party program, and frankly, offers the bare minimum in security.

I've been using AVG Internet Security for years, and have not had the issues people have with M$ or Norton.

David,

Its not clear to me what you mean by "manually toggle the LOTW flag". What are you trying to achieve?

If a JTAlert user has the Callsigns database installed, they will get displays of your Callsign with the LoTW flag visible unless, they have turned off the display of the flag, in which case there is nothing that you can do.
