Not true (except for HRD 5 and pre 6.3).

JTAlert has always required that HRDLogbook be running as it uses the TCPIP interface of HRDLogbook to perform the logging.

If Logbook is not running than JTAlert cannot establish a TCP connection over which to send the logging instruction.

B4 checks and previous QSO lookups don't require Logbook to be running as they involve direct reads on the log database.
