I just went to Hamapps.com per the link in Laurie's message announcing the new version. I automatically got taken to the dnl.hamapps when clicking on the download. I'll checkout the guidance you sent. Thanks.

However, for the record, you do not need to go to dnl.hamapps.com – it is just the empty container and all you will get is this:
Try instead going to www.hamapps.com. The scroll down to the bottom and click the blue underlined word Download next to the file you want to download.

Exclude all of your ham software folders and data locations.
The antivirus programs are interfering with all sorts of ham stuff including logging QSOs
For example I exclude all of these
c:\Program Files (x86)\HamApps
%LOCALAPPDATA%\WSJT-X (and any other WSJT-X directories)
Exclude your logging program and it's data files too.

Yeah ... turn off Microsoft ... its a false positive. Make sure the /Hamapps/.. directory has an exemption.
